Raleigh, N.C. — A Raleigh man used the threat of publishing explicit photographs to convince his female victim to give him sexual favors and high-end sneakers, police said.
Ronald Stacey Rhodes, 26, of Lot 3 1300 Farm Road, faces charges of kidnapping, extortion, attempted second-degree rape, assault and more. He was being held Sunday night on $750,000 bond.
Raleigh police said Rhodes is a suspect in a similar case in Mecklenberg County, where he also threatened to publish explicit photos of a woman if she didn't do what he asked.
